Glossary
Visual testing compares rendered appearance with an expected visual state. Depending on the tool, that may mean screenshot comparison, layout rules or human review.
A functionally correct page can still have clipped text or a broken layout. A test that verifies a visible label does not establish that the whole page matches a visual baseline.
Teams control viewport, fonts, data and rendering conditions, then review meaningful differences. They keep pixel or layout regression testing distinct from tests of user actions and outcomes.
Zerocheck uses page context to carry out browser tests and captures screenshots before and after each step. It does not provide a visual-baseline comparison product. The screenshots help a reviewer understand what happened during a functional test.
