# Your release checklist is already a test plan

Paste your QA checklist. Zerocheck drafts editable browser tests, runs them in your app, and shows the result of each item before you save it.

## Who it is for

- Role: Founder or engineering lead
- Company: Small product teams shipping a web app
- Trigger: The release checklist takes longer than the team can afford before each deploy

## Why this is underserved

- The same sign-in, search and account-settings flows still get tested by hand.
- A checklist item needs an expected outcome, not just a sequence of clicks.
- Coding agents can produce changes faster than the team can review them in a browser.

## The workflow

Before: An engineer opens the checklist and repeats the same flows before release. The result is a tick in a document, with little context when a later release fails.

After: Paste the checklist in the web app, review the grouping and run the drafts. Each item keeps its passing, failed or unresolved result. Save the tests you want to rerun.

## How Zerocheck handles it

1. Configure your app URL and the login steps for a test account.
2. Paste text or upload a Markdown or text checklist; preview one test per top-level item.
3. Review drafted steps, screenshots and the expected outcome. Supply missing inputs where requested.
4. Save tests in the web app and rerun them there. Download individual YAML tests for the optional CLI and GitHub Actions.

## Good fit when

- A web app and a repeatable user flow
- A test environment, test accounts and an explicit expected outcome

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need a repository or an install?

No. Start in the web app with a URL the hosted browser can reach. Use the optional CLI for localhost, GitHub Actions and MCP.

### What happens to unsupported checklist items?

They remain visible as unresolved items. A failed or unsupported item is not silently removed or marked passing.

### Can I edit the tests?

Yes. Edit web-managed tests in the web app and download their YAML. CLI-managed tests live in your repository.
