# What Is AI Testing?

## Definition

AI testing can mean testing an AI system or using AI to help test software. In browser automation, it commonly describes AI-assisted authoring, target resolution or semantic assertions.

## Why it matters

The term covers different products and does not establish which parts are deterministic, what the agent is allowed to change or whether an assertion is meaningful.

## How teams handle it today

Teams ask what input the system requires, how it handles uncertainty and what happens when a requirement fails. They review an actual result and a deliberately broken flow before adopting it.

## How Zerocheck approaches it

Zerocheck uses AI to draft browser steps, interpret unfamiliar interactions and evaluate semantic expectations. Supported explicit assertions use observable browser signals. The user-facing result includes the test that ran and per-step evidence, rather than a general AI confidence score.
